Mr. Kielmeyer

Hi! My name is Thomas Kielmeyer, and this is my tenth year teacher music in Aurora Public Schools and my third at Century. During my tenure, I have established nine choirs at four schools in the district. For the past nine years, I have been a co-coordinator and director for the Aurora Public Schools Elementary Honor Choir and have seen many former students performing at the middle and high school levels having success in the music department. I attended the Metropolitan State College of Denver where I received my Bachelors degree for Music Education with a Choral Emphasis, as well as minored in business.

Along with being the music teacher and choir director at Century, I am also is the director of music at a local church, where I direct the adult choir, adult handbell choir, the elementary school choir, the pre-school choir and am in charge of the praise band. My wife teaches music at a Denver area school and plays flute for the Lone Tree Symphony. We, along with our two sons love singing, playing and living in Aurora.
